life, love and crafting

Well I've been at it again making a few cards, some on commission and some for my wobblymouse selection box.

Mr photography and I have been attending some weddings with family so I made some cards for mummy and grannymouse. What made it really fun was that I got to make them with mum when she visited for her birthday.

We got all the bits out on the table, chose colours, toppers, layers and then the words we wanted inside.  Thinking about the love and hope that two people are showing when they decide to spend the rest of their lives together.  Plus it is so much fun to get together with old friends and family whilst making new ones too.

For the wobblymouse store box birthday cards butterflies, flowers, pussycats and boofle.

Using a combination of hunkydory and  docraft collections, and experimenting with my joy cutting machine, inks and promakers. I had fun thinking of celebrating the years passing and life's experiences growing.

Making cards to share with friends, letting them know that there is a special day that we celebrate them.

Well the weather has turned cold again and with that I have started knitting I found some rather interesting wool. It really makes a lovely long and snuggly scarf to protect from all the snow and ice.

Well that's the wobblymouse crafty news, other than I had a lovely visit to the Hunkydory cafe in Newport and had some amazing cake, buying some to take to work for my colleagues to enjoy too.  If you are ever in Newport for lunch I really recommend it - very yummy selection of freshly made vegetarian dishes by my blogging buddy allotment to kitchen.
